Digital Media
An introduction to digital media with the use of images, videos, softwares and electronic resources is what one of the courses in the program covered. E-learning mediums can be used for interactives means or to present information quickly and clearly. Content created in the course to reflect prompts and themes allowed for me to improve graphic design skills and learn about the principles of elements and designs.
INFOGRAPHIC #1
This first infographic assignment targets potential students considering applying to the Educational Technology (MA) program. Essentially, attempting to recruit individuals to want to admit. This visual representation aims to inform prospective students to gain interest towards the field and communicate why this is an advantageous career path.
The design depicts information from resources consulted and attempts to display balance, consistency, and alignment. This infographic does not look as visually appealing as I would have liked it to be. I have since improved in utilizing graphic design softwares.

INFOGRAPHIC #2
This second infographic assignment targets primary, secondary, and higher education teachers wishing to gain insight as to how technology can be implemented into educational practices. The infographic displays functions and tools used to facilitate learning and the visual representation showcases how schools are using a variety of tools to support learning.

The design solely includes icons to represent how classroom tools range from traditional to electronic resources that can be used for student success. The design attempts to display the use of shapes with symbols to deliver a creative design while demonstrating contrast in color and the rule of thirds. This shows a major improvement from my first infographic!
